User or you - Any third party accessing the Application who is not either: (i) Employed by TEXTINTEL FZE and acting within their employment scope, or (ii) Engaged as a consultant or service provider to TEXTINTEL FZE, accessing the Application in connection with such services.

Application - The Call Recorder & Transcriber mobile application and any related services, unless explicitly excluded by separate terms and conditions.

In this Privacy Policy, unless the context requires otherwise:

  • The singular includes the plural, and vice versa
  • References to sub-clauses, clauses, schedules, or appendices refer to those in this Privacy Policy
  • A reference to a person includes firms, companies, government entities, trusts, and partnerships

This Privacy Policy applies only to actions taken by TEXTINTEL FZE and Users in relation to this Application. It does not extend to any external applications or websites accessible from our Application.

For purposes of Data Protection Laws, TEXTINTEL FZE is the "Data Controller", meaning we determine how and why your Data is processed.

Important Note: Call recordings and transcriptions are stored locally on your device with encryption and are NOT automatically uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly choose to use cloud backup features (if available) or share specific recordings.

Call Recordings and Transcriptions - Stored locally on your device until you delete them. We do not have access to or control over this data unless you share it with us.

Analytics Data - Anonymized and aggregated data may be retained indefinitely

10. Children's Privacy

Our Application is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect Data from children under 16. If we discover such data has been collected, we will delete it immediately.

11. Third-Party Services

The Application may integrate with third-party services (such as cloud storage providers) at your option. These services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

12. Permissions

The Application requires certain permissions to function:

We only request permissions necessary for the Services and will explain why each permission is needed.
